On February 28th, the State Theatre in Portland, ME, wrapped up the month with a sold-out show featuring Faye Webster and Mei Ehara, marking the fourth stop on the Underdressed at the Symphony Tour. Tokyo-based artist Mei Ehara and her band captivated the audience, their jazzy instrumentals blending seamlessly with her soothing, lullaby-like vocals, drawing the crowd into a rhythmic sway.

Following Mei Ehara’s performance, a wave of excitement swept through the crowd as the stage was prepared for Faye. Faye’s set kicked off with a fun surprise: a recording of Minions singing the opening verse of “But Not Kiss” in Minionese, with fans eagerly singing along as if they were fluent in the language.

Faye’s set was accompanied by stunning visuals and soft lighting, creating an intimate atmosphere as her gentle voice and poetic lyrics filled the venue.
